Kensington Palace has released for the first time a photo of the new royal siblings.
Spokesperson for Kensington Palace- the household of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton tweeted the photo of siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte less than an hour ago.
An earlier post on twitter via the same account alluded to the anticipated post. It read, 'We'll be posting a very special photo of Prince George & his little sister Princess Charlotte late tonight. Can't wait to share it with you!'
Proud mum, the Duchess herself took the photo a few weeks ago.
Princes Charlotte Elizabeth Diana Windsor was born just over a month ago on 2 May 2015 and is fourth in line to the throne.
Earlier this week it was announced that Princess Charlotte will be christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury in Sandringham on 5 July 2015 .
The princess is the second child of William and Kate. First child son Prince George was born 22 July 2013 and is third in line to the throne.
The couple met at university and wed on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
